Climate Flow Limited Case Study

How I rebuilt a basic Shopify site into a professional web presence and an always-on Google Ads engine that keeps enquiries flowing across both residential heating and commercial refrigeration.

The Challenge

Climate Flow is a Wembley-based heating, plumbing and commercial refrigeration company, serving both residential customers and businesses across London with installation, servicing and repair work. They needed a professional web presence that reflected both sides of the business — and a steady flow of new enquiries across each service line.

Before and After

visibility_off

Before

A basic Shopify storefront that spoke to neither audience clearly. No analytics, no conversion tracking, no Google Business Profile — so no way of knowing which enquiries came from where, or whether ad spend was earning its keep.

After

A rebuilt service site with a clear path for each audience, measurement running from search through to enquiry, a verified local profile, a consent banner, and Google Ads split by service line.

What I Did

Climate Flow already had a basic Shopify site, and no way of telling what it was doing. I rebuilt the storefront as a proper service site, built the measurement from scratch, then put a paid engine on top of it and kept managing it month to month.

Shopify Rebuild. Their existing storefront was thin and spoke to nobody in particular. I rebuilt it on Shopify as a service site that addresses homeowners and commercial clients side by side, without either reading as an afterthought.

Conversion Tracking, From Nothing. The original site measured nothing — no analytics, no goals, no conversion data. I set up Google Analytics 4, Search Console and conversion tracking inside Google Ads, so an enquiry can be traced back to the search that produced it.

Local Presence & Consent. I launched and verified their Google Business Profile for local and map visibility, and added a cookie consent banner, so visitors are asked before any analytics or ad tracking runs.

Google Ads & PPC. I set up and actively manage Google Ads campaigns split across residential heating and commercial refrigeration, so budget always follows the services with the strongest demand.

Ongoing Marketing. Rather than a one-off launch, I run continuous optimisation — refining ad copy, landing pages and targeting each month to keep the enquiry pipeline consistent.

My Process

Step 01

Audit

Before touching anything I looked at what the existing site could tell us. The answer was nothing — no analytics, no conversion data, no way to judge whether spend was working.

Step 02

Rebuild on Shopify

A rebuilt storefront that behaves like a service site, with separate, obvious paths for homeowners and for commercial clients.

Step 03

Instrument and split

GA4, Search Console, Ads conversion tracking and a cookie consent banner. Then Google Ads rebuilt as separate campaigns per service line.

Step 04

Optimise monthly

Copy, landing pages and targeting refined every month, with budget moved toward whichever service line is converting best.

The Results

The combination of a conversion-focused website and continuously managed campaigns produced a reliable, predictable stream of enquiries across both service lines.

2.9×Return on ad spend
+65%Enquiries vs. launch month
-31%Cost per lead
2Service lines, one pipeline

Climate Flow also have their own Looker Studio dashboard, wired to their analytics and ad accounts. They can check any of this themselves, whenever they want, without going through me.

What Made the Difference

visibility

You cannot optimise what you cannot see

The first job was not the advertising, it was the measurement. Until conversions were tracked, every decision about budget would have been a guess dressed up as a strategy.

call_split

Split, not blended

A single combined ad account would have let the cheaper clicks quietly swallow the budget. Separate campaigns per service line keep both sides of the business visible.

groups

Two audiences, one site

A homeowner and a facilities manager want different proof before they call. The site gives each a clear path instead of averaging the message into something neither trusts.

autorenew

Managed, not just launched

Campaigns are reviewed and adjusted every month rather than set once and left. That is what keeps the enquiry flow steady instead of spiking and fading.

★★★★★

From website design to ongoing marketing, the process has been smooth and results-driven. Clear communication, strong strategy, and measurable growth.
